Step back in time with this incredibly rare 1985 Ford Transit Mk2 Custom minibus, now available at Fine Lines Classic Cars. Full 'Custom' specification including front spoiler, dash mounted clock and larger steering wheel. Original Ford push button radio, wheel trims and Jack/ wheel brace in its original bag. A true survivor, the condition difficult to describe All the body panels, wings, doors, bonnet, tailgate, door steps and valances appear to be 100% original with absolutely no signs of any previous repairs with factory fresh panel fit. The paintwork is beautiful with a glorious lustre and depth of shine. The underside, floors, sills and outriggers etc are excellent, 100% solid. The interior retains all its original seats in perfect condition maintaining its authentic vintage charm. The van drives very well with its original 2.0 Pinto OHC engine running very well, smooth quiet gearbox and clutch and reassuringly progressive brakes.

Having covered only 2000 miles in the last 20 years, the majority of that time in storage, we are currently having it fully recommissioned including a brand new timing belt, water pump, carburettor, battery, alternator and belt, coil, brake overhaul including front brake discs, pads, rear wheel cylinders, brake shoes, handbrake cable, brake pipe, heater hose, thermostat and engine service including spark plugs, oil and filter.
