This unrestored, original condition Triumph Acclaim was supplied by ourselves 7 years ago to a local chap who has now unfortunately had to give up driving. This Acclaim has covered just 53000 miles from new. During his ownership he treasured it, covering under 3000 miles, never taking it out in the rain and always stored in a dry garage.

The Triumph Acclaim featured a Honda designed 1.3 litre overhead camshaft engine , manufactured in Japan and were very well known for their reliability and eagerness contributing to the Acclaim’s dependable performance

The car is in amazing original condition throughout. Finished in typical 80,s colours of ‘Cashmere’ Gold metallic with contrasting beige cloth trim it really is a blast from the past. When did you last see one! The body paintwork and interior is very nice indeed. The under bonnet is super clean and original. The underside is is also totally original having never had any welding repairs, still protected in the rust protection as applied by the factory which has certainly worked in preserving the car in the condition it presents today. Mechanically the very smooth Honda engine bursts into life upon demand performing extremely well mated to a slick 5 speed gearbox.
The original Triumph push button radio is still fitted. We have the original wallet containing the Triumph Acclaim handbook, push button radio manual and a ‘Autodata car repair manual.

A very succesfull model in its day with Triumph selling 133,000 Acclaims although now, according to ‘How many left’ there are only 43 Triumph Acclaim HLS,s licensed on the UK roads. It is amazing this example has survived and incredibly just 53000 miles!

Now classed as a historic vehicle it benefits from free road tax and Mot exemption however this Acclaim holds an Mot until September 2026 with no advisories for your peace of mind
