Supplied new by Henlys of London on the 3rd May 1974, this exceptional Jaguar E Type Series 3 V12 Roadster represents one of the most original and significant examples we have encountered. Finished in the highly desirable and rarely seen factory colour of Lavender Blue, this original UK supplied right hand drive manual gearbox car has had just one owner from new and has covered a mere 32,000 miles during its remarkable 52 year life.
Quite simply, finding a one owner E Type Roadster is almost unheard of today. We believe this could quite possibly be the only one owner Series 3 Roadster in existence. Adding further significance, this is a very late production right hand drive manual example. Of the 1,577 right hand drive Series 3 Roadsters produced, only approximately 295 cars were built after this example left the factory.
The history file is equally impressive. The car retains its original service book containing no fewer than 32 service stamps together with its original Operations and Service Handbook, Sales and Service Facilities in the United Kingdom handbook and all original keys. The level of documentation perfectly supports the exceptionally low mileage and careful ownership this E Type has enjoyed from new.
