Finished in striking and highly desirable "Inca" Yellow with its original "Ambla" Black interior this late production T plate car is among the last Stags built. A rare manual with overdrive it delivers the driving experience enthusiasts seek combining effortless V8 performance with relaxed touring capability.

This is a locally owned beautifully preserved and remarkably original car clearly cherished throughout its life. Recently recommissioned following a period of long term storage over £6000 has been invested this year, all documented by "Retro Motor Services" in Coventry including, electronic ignition, all wheels refurbished, new tyres, radiator, viscous coupling, fuel pump brake shoes, brake discs, rear shoes, pads, wheel cylinders ,gearbox oil, track rod end, renewed antifreeze, brake overhaul, brake shoes, wheel cylinders, alternator belt, and full service etc, etc to ensure it drives exactly as it should and it shows. Having personally driven this car a number of miles and owned numerous Stags over the years, this is quite simply this is the best driving Stag I have experienced, driving without fault and without doubt the smoothest operating manual overdrive gearbox I have ever experienced.

The condition throughout is outstanding. The paintwork presents beautifully with a deep consistent finish while the original soft top remains in near perfect condition operating with ease as one could imagine a near new one would. Accompanied by its factory hard top the car is equally suited to year round enjoyment. Sitting on its correct original Stag alloy wheels with all nearly new matching 185/ 70/ R14 it retains the authentic look so often lost.

The history file is equally impressive with MOT certificates dating back to 1981 supporting the genuine mileage of just 79000 and just 4 previous owners from new. Supplied with its original handbooks this is a car that has clearly led a well documented and careful life.
